What we collect
When a patient uses the MakeWell app, we collect the health information they choose to enter (symptoms, answers to follow-up questions, and any profile details they add) so the app can produce a structured report on the patient's device.
How we use it
Patient information is used to generate guidance and a structured report. We do not use it for advertising.
Sharing with your provider
When you choose to link to a provider and share a report, it is sent from your device to the provider you select. Your provider's dashboard is operated by their practice, not by MakeWell. Nothing is shared with a provider unless you choose to share it.
What we never do
- We never sell patient health data.
- We do not run ads against your health information.
- We do not share a patient's information with a provider unless the patient links to that provider and chooses to share.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored securely. Patients control what they share and can request deletion of their information.
